The Cert IV in Ministry is the ideal course if you are looking to take your practical ministry experience to a new level. The course combines strong biblical knowledge with opportunity to develop your ministry and leadership skills in a practical way. Learn from experienced recognised ministry leaders who will mentor and equip you for greater ministry opportunities. You will cover subjects in leadership, cross-culture ministry, pastoral care and biblical studies. Make a greater impact in your local church ministry team by studying a Cert IV in Ministry at AC.
Cert IV Accreditation
The Cert IV in Ministry (Leadership) runs through Alphacrucis College but is facilitated by Eastcoast Church each Sunday. If you wish to receive your accreditation it requires the completion of the course material and assessments.
Just Attend (free)
If you simply want to increase your knowledge you are free to join in on the sessions. This comes at no cost but you will not be assessed and do not receive any accreditation.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Course Details:
The Certificate IV in Ministry (Leadership) has 10 units.
The course includes 8 core subjects and 2 electives.
Core Subjects:
- Christian Disciplines
- Christian Worldview (theology)
- Introduction to the Old Testament
- Participate in Christian Ministry (placement unit)
- Pastoral Ministry
- Christian Leadership
- Introduction to the New Testament
- Teamwork (placement unit)
Leadership (Elective) Stream:
- Work in a Ministry Team (placement unit)
- Evangelism
Duration:
- Full time: 1 year
- Part time: 2 – 4 years
Start Date:
The first semester will begin on August 5th 2018. All registrations for paid study must be in by July 9th.
Cost:
The cost is $260 per subject, which is paid to Eastcoast Church before each subject us undertaken. If you require child minding during the class, there will be an additional fee of $20 per semester.
